This weekend, I had the pleasure of being Toastmaster for the Nikkah and wedding celebration of H&S at @meridian_grand ✨️ and it was genuinely one of the most amazing events I have had the pleasure of working.

But this wedding also marked part 1 of my assessment to become a full member of the Toastmasters & Masters of Ceremonies Federation. This is where a professional, and experience member of the TMCF comes to observe me at work, inspecting my uniform, how I liaise with all the other suppliers on the day, how I keep guests informed, and having control over the day to ensure a smooth and seamless event.

Was I nervous? YES! Despite having worked as a professional Toastmaster for over 2 years, it was still nerve wracking having such an esteemed colleague watching and observing me. The feedback was positive and very constructive.

Now on the AGM in May - for my uniform inspection, and interview!
